Hi Guys,

Before you get too excited, I talked Rob into restoring the TC-V8 and keep
it. Work has started, so I doubt the TC is for sale now.

RARE 1948 MG TC

POST WAR RALLY/RACE CAR

Offered for sale is a rare example of a Post War Hot Rod modified sports
car. This 1948 MG TC (EXPAG #5025) is one of a handful of early MG TCs
modified in the U.S. for street legal weekend racing. This car was upgraded
with an infamous 1937/1940 Ford V8 60 engine equipped with all of the 1950's
period correct high performance equipment. These engines were successfully
used in dirt midgets or small hydroplane racing applications.

EXPAG #5025 was raced in the Mid Michigan region from the mid 1950's to the
late 1960's and was an early member of the SCCA (#732) and, still obtains
its original member tag on the firewall. The car won numerous plaques and
trophies which unfortunately were sold separately at an estate auction.

The car is currently in need of restoration, however, is a perfect candidate
for running at events such as the Monterey Historics or other vintage racing
venues.

Subject: 48 MG TC Rally Car For Sale

Hi John,

I met you a year or so back at the Olde Ship at one of the Club meetings and
am the brother n law of Gary McMahon. I thought that you might be able to
give me some advice on how to sell my car. Due to the passing of my father I
now have too many cars and project cars for the room and have decided to
sell most of the project cars. I have attached a document about the car and
a couple of pictures. I wanted to reach out to the MG community before I use
advertising like EBay.

Thanks for any help that you may be able to provide.

Best Regards,
