I now have  SAE660 bearing bronze gearbox thrust washers for sale as shown
in attached.

Normal end float on the cluster gear is 0.004". This end float is sometimes
difficult to achieve because proper thickness bronze washers are not
available.  Standard thrust washers are 0.075" thickness and sometimes this
is not thick enough to take up end float in the cluster gear due to wear in
the gearbox. Replacement new parts from various suppliers vary in thickness.

I have produced new thrust washers in 0.076" thickness and 0.078" thickness
for use in TC and TD/TF gearboxes allowing you to adjust the end float.
TD/TF needs no additional work to install. These are Moss #82 and #84, page
14.
TB/TC requires the thrust assembly ( Moss page 12 items #73 and #74 )  to be
pressed apart and the new bronze thrust installed. Easy to do in your home
shop.

Thrust washers are for sale at $20.00 each or $40.00 the pair plus postage
for either TB/TC or TD/TF. You specify thickness required.

Warning, some TB/TC thrust steel inner races are worn where the old bronze
washer rotated. If this is the case, you may need a new steel center which I
can supply,  see center of second image, in photo. Or I can repair your old
thrust assembly.

Another warning, many TD/TF steel thrust plate ( Moss page 14, #83 and #85 )
have the little tine that keeps the steel washer from rotating broken off or
cracked. I can supply repaired plates if required.

Trust this is of interest and allows proper adjustment of cluster gear end
float.
