[Mg-t] Dash Lamp Socket Removal

Bob,

I believe the socket is held against the dash panel by a large, softly 
coiled spring which sits in a tin "cup" which has flats on two sides of 
its hole. You compress the spring, rotate the cup until the flats line 
up with flats on the body, then the cup slides off followed by the 
spring. Then the socket comes out of the front of the dash.

At least, that's how some of these sockets come off and I think it 
applies to the one you are talking about!
