As you have seen in the other replies, removal is not a big issue, but be
CAREFUL of the springs popping out.
I used World Wide Auto Parts at 2517 Seiferth Rd, Madison, WI 53716 and my
contact was "Pete" for the "like new" (my quote) service.
Tele is 800-362-1025 or on the web at www.netinteraction.com/nosimport
It was a quick turn and well worth the cost.

Subject: [Mg-t] TD front shock removal

We need help from the list!

We want to remove the front shocks (Girling) from my TD, and neither the
factory manual nor Blower's is helpful here -- can they be removed with the
fenders in place? We don't want to get halfway through, working in the
basement garage, and then discover that it's such a project that we should
have taken the car down to the shop instead (and may take so much time that
we
won't make it to a planned show)-----------

As always, thanks!
