according to Blowe:
M.G. D type uses a single  1" SU carb with standard M5 or G2 needle.
Unless you are hopping it up? I may have an extra 1" SU carb, need to look.
Sorry, no extra 1-1/8".

J2 and PA/PB use twin SU 1" carbs.

Makes sense to use a larger 1-1/8" carb if using only a single carb?

I believe I need a 1 1/8 inch carburetor for the D not a 1".

Hi All

I'm starting to collect needed parts for a very tattered D Type. The Gear
shift assembly ( Remote control assembly) is missing on the J2 gearbox I
plan on using. What other models will fit on this box? Does any of you have
a spare one you would be willing to sell me?
Also in need of a 1" Carburetor and 8" cable brake parts. I have the drums.
