Monthly meeting is today Wednesday, October 4th, 7PM at Four Seasons Brewery in Latrobe. We have moved to a new email list. We will be using the same site that the Western PA Triumph club uses. One of the features is that an archive is automatically created with the group emails that can be searched by date, subject, etc.. The WP Triumph club has been using this method to communicate since 2014, so it makes sense to update our method. Your email has been entered into the list, so expect a confirmation email saying 'Welcome to the Lhbcc mailing list' or something similar to that. The message will contain some info about the list including unsubscribe info if you desire to do so. After you receive the message, you may post a message to all members by sending an email to lhbcc at autox.team.net Ken -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... We will depart for the Roadster Factory around 10:00 and expect to arrive at the Roadster Factory at 10:30. Or you can order online and get the discount by referencing the WPTA run in the comments section of the order sheet. The Roadster Factory is located at Killen Road, Armagh, Pa 15920 for anyone going directly there. For those that didn?t get enough to eat at Dean?s we will be heading to Griffith?s 11710 PA 56, Armagh, Pa 15920 for lunch after visiting The Roadster Factory. Griffith?s is just off Rt 22 on Rt 56. We usually get a nice sized group that goes to Griffith?s after the tour. Probably because they have great food, cold beer and the prices are reasonable. Awesome garage and cars to look at and plenty of food and drinks. Thanks again for an enjoyable afternoon! Also, a reminder that this Wednesday (November 1) is our regularly-scheduled monthly meeting. 7pm at Four Season Brewery in Latrobe, behind the Autozone. A request for you as well, if you signed up for the Christmas Party (on Saturday December 2) please bring payment to this Wednesday?s meeting (cash or check). It?s $30/person. You can pay online via PayPal, but we do have to pay fees for those transactions, so the club loses some of that money. So if you can bring payment to the meeting, that?s helpful. Finally, there is a car tour scheduled for this coming Sunday, November 5, organized by a small group called the Pittsburgh Area Holden Owners and opened up to other car enthusiasts. The tour starts at the Sheetz in Donegal, near the PA Turnpike exchange. Here?s a description by the organizer: We'll take a spirited and scenic drive through the Laurel Highlands. The route is about 100 miles mostly on lightly traveled 2 lane roads. We'll start at the Sheetz in Donegal, PA - just off the PA Turnpike (exit 91) at the intersection of Rt. 31 and Rt. 711. Rest stop (very close to the mid-point): Sheetz on Rt. 119 (2261 University Dr, Lemont Furnace, PA 15456) near the Penn State Fayette Campus . Ending point: Braddock's Restaurant & Tavern (braddocksinn.com ) for lunch. If you are interested in joining us, please let me know as soon as possible. We have reservations for lunch and need to know the number of people coming. Take care, and looking forward to seeing everyone Wednesday evening. Personally my focus will always be on the British vehicles, but this may be a way to expand the club's reach and membership in the future.
