[Land-speed] Land Speed Apps...

I'm still pretty stymied (hey...I like that word) by the whole motorcycle leathers thing. Have made a couple contacts with Matt, the SCTA tech guy, but the whole thing things so cloudy that it almost seems like you just have to roll the dice and hope your leathers make it through inspection. I've found a real reasonably priced place, Top Gear Leathers in Commerce, CA that says they have what it takes both off the rack and custom built for esily half what it takes to have them done at other custom leathers shops. Anybody have any experience with this? I'm tempted to buy a custom set and have them shipped to Matt (or whoever at SCTA) and have them tell me yea or nay. We have several guys in our group that are going to need these so we're all faced with the expense. Ideas anyone??
