What Jim said is correct. A slight clarification may help. When you arrive
at the pit and sign the liability release you will get an arm band that
allows you access just about anywhere. The driver is yellow and crew is red.
One paid entry gets you 4 arm bands. Additional crew can be purchased for
$10 each. That is for people and just generally walking around. Also, a
support vehicle not only needs a pit pass but that pass is needed for
restricted areas where your racing vehicle needs to be taken or picked up.
You get 2 of those with one entry. It is not necessary to buy additional
vehicle passes if you pit next to the pit boundary on the west side. The pit
is laid out with a single tape or rope. If you pit next to the rope, others
in your party can park their cars right next to you on the outside of the
rope.

A BNI membership gets you 1 pass (it will come in the mail), Each entry fee
gets you 4 additional passes and 2 vehicle stickers (pick them up at
inspection).
