[Land-speed] Pilot bearing

I don't know how the rest of the world does it, but I use oilite bronze
bushings. Usually Ford or Chevy to Ford over the counter parts. I turn a short
lead in on one end and go for about a.005 interference fit. Overnight in the
freezer. Bang it in.
