[Land-speed] GM Mesa AZ LSR ?

Page 14 of the latest HotRod mag announces the closing of the GM Mesa, AZ  
proving grounds. They built a new one near Yuma on leased US Army land, with 
the  stipulation the Army also gets to use it for testing. 
I Googled and found
