[Land-speed] Facebook

I set up a facebook and my space account so that I could keep track of grandkids, nieces and nephews, etc.  

 Downside? Occassional  be my friend emails from  country music fans  who think I'm touring with  Carrie Underwood...  No kidding.  

 Upside?  A contiuous stream of mostly cool stuff - photos, homemade music, videos etc    from all 6 of my brothers and sisters, and a dozen of the younger  kids in our  extended family.   I look at it about once or twice a week. Keeps me semi-hip even in my advancing years.....and keeps me in touch in a way that the phone never would -  how many folks actually stay in regular touch with all of  their nieces/nephews and  brothers and sisters not to mention the kids/grandkids on  a twice weekly basis and get filled in on everything  that's  going on?
