My Dad's neighbor drove P-51 in Europe during WWII. I can't remember any details, but I remember him talking about keeping the wing tip off the ground when taking off. He flew B-25 or B-26's at first, didn't care for it, but loved the P-51. After the war, he tried small private planes and gave up. Boring (repeat 10 times). Bryan
