Tom, I found that ceramic coating and wrapping the pipes they still blistered the paint. I think that temp shouldn't be near the fuel tank. Although if he is trying to get the exhaust to the rear of the car, that is desirable from an aero standpoint. Pick which devil you want to battle. Rick
