[Land-speed] Anti-freeze Disposal

Here at school I have two 55 gallon drums,  one is for waste oil, ATF, etc., 
the other is for old coolant.  When the  oil drum is just about full we have a 
company come down who pumps it out for a  fee.  He takes both oil and 
coolant.  One time I asked why take both  together, even though we cannot mix the two 
waste products?     His answer was " that it all gets sold to high rise 
building owners in NYC who  burn the waste fluids in their oil burners for heat and 
hot  water".    I was not aware that used coolant would burn, still  cannot 
believe what he said.  He gives us a receipt for the removal and he  is also 
licensed by the EPA.  Receipts must be kept on  file.    Safety Kleen also 
offers this service.
 
  His only concern is that no excess amount  of gasoline was dumped in with 
the oil !!
