I like that JD...



The period I like was 55-65. 
Regular people made enough to race in just about any kind of event.
Road Racing, Drags, Circle Track, Hill Climbs, Desert Racing and just 
about anything else
was available to the average back yard car or bike amateur. Creative 
individuals with some
money were seen at Indy.

Motor racing was just a hot bed of innovation.

The only place I see that anymore is LSR events.
