bronze gear is showing alarming wear - do I need a steel or iron gear?

any help appreciated.

Hi David
Are you running a billet roller cam? If not, the stock iron gear will work
fine and won't wear as fast as the bronze. If this is a street vehicle, forget
the bronze gear, it will wear "alarmingly" fast! As I understand it, the
bronze gears are only for billet cams, but what the hell do I know! LOL
