Dave we do use an excel spread sheet you can see it for yourself at the
SCTA-BNI website. All 2200+ runs. This year with technically 3 timing
areas, short 1 mile, 2 to the 3 short course and 2 thru the 5 long
course. + 1/4 mile times and exit speeds on the long courses combined on
2 differebnt tracks on the entire spread sheet, what to eliminate
becomes a problem.

It's not that bad to look at each run of the "blue tag" cars/bikes and
find the fastest speed after eliminating the 1/4's, and exits. If a #
only makes 2 or 3 passes it's easy. If more just a little harder. I use
Glens numbers for record runs and look back at Ed's #'s to check dates.

With so many I need to type them for the engraver.

For El Mirage the excel file with the none used columns pinched off,
goes directly to the engraver which is a change from the long ago way of
doing things. An El Mirage meet take about 30 minutes including moving
the record setters to the end and changing their color to red. I also
sort them by club so I can pack them up easier
