[Land-speed] non lsr nerf bars

I seem to have a dim memory (as opposed to the usual foggy) of the Nerf bar  
actually being invented and named after a guy, probably SoCal type, in the  
50's. Somebody, probably on the HAMB list could corroborate this, I hope.   He 
probaly had a cousin named Wham-o..LOL
