 Henry, Tim,

I would feel better if the 60th Anniversary Committee made a formal announcement to the FOT, however brief. Not everyone knows about it and it is a matter good PR and courtesy.  It gives people an opportunity to voice their opinions, too.

Do we know that it is only a two day event at Laguna Seca? Perhaps the west coast committee has had discussions regarding a test and tune day. May be there is enough track time with enduros and group races to satisfy some folks. As soon as we can get some visibility to the planning, we will know.  

In any case I can understand that east coast folks would be reluctant to tow that distance for one event. I supposed the west coast committee might promote those other two events as further inducement for a few more entries.  

Sean, Mark, and I plan to make a family vacation out of it, so it all makes sense to us. We wouldnt miss it for the world.  We might only bring one car, however. Depends on what kind of planning that is forthcoming.

I am sure it will all work out somehow.

We never got anything we asked for from HSR. If we hope to can get anything, I 





think we need to hold off until we have something in hand.











I have not had any luck getting people from the east interested in a hauling 





cars for a two day event at Laguna Seca. Word is out the the Mitty in 12, trust 





me. I would not even try calling it a secret...











I think the only thing talking about 2012 now will do is detract from 2011...

The word is out on Road Atlanta in 2012  in various quarters.











 It would be good form to announce this to the FRIENDS OF TRIUMPH.











It is not too early for some folks to start planning for this. In fairness, it 





might influence their decisions when compared with the LAGUNA SECA Kastner Cup 





this year.











Perhaps you already have a plan for announcing to the FOT at large?











Perhaps Andy, as EVENTS CORDINATOR, should be on the FOT committee email list, 





when it is established. Not too early to establish that committee, either.











This event has global implications.....the 40th and 50th were huge. I cant 





imagine what this will be like with Classic Motorsports behind it.
