No fan blades. On my BT7, it's a squirrel cage held in place be a nut. I recently rebuilt the blower motor because it was running slow, intermittently, or not at all. Yes, all three symptoms. I sanded the commutator and sraped down the mica insulation between
the copper segments. It works well now. BTW, the motor will blow in reverse despite what other internet resources you find. Google Information about rebuilding the motor. </div>

Also, it is possible the nut for the pull wire for damper at the heater core is loose and the damper is remaining closed. </div>

Hi,</div>

Happy New Year folks.</div>

Cold here so I thought I'd turn the blower on to raise the temperature in my MkII BT7 from frigid to cold. So far as I can see, there is nothing coming out of said blower. No air, lukewarm or whatever. Now, the motor was running....a) I could hear it and b)
I could see the volt meter increase/decrease for a second when I switched it on/off.</div>
<div class="x_elementToProof" style="direction:ltr; font-family:Aptos,Aptos_EmbeddedFont,Aptos_MSFontService,Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size:12pt; color:rgb(0,0,0)">
So, the question is:- Can the blades become detached from the spindle? ie seemingly, we have the motor spinning but the blades remaining stationary. Make sense? Anyone encountered this one?</div>
