So¡¦¡¦I have a spare First Motion Shaft here, something that my BMC Parts Book (AKD1151) refers to as a ¡°Gear-drive¡±. However, I recall being given it when I bought my late Mk II BT7 centre-shift car but I cannot recall why I was given it or what car it came
from. I¡¯ve used it to centre my clutch but, as I have a tool for that purpose, this thing is redundant.</div>

It has 33 of the small teeth and 24 of the longer slotted ones. It is 11¨ı¡± or 295mm long. It has a groove around the shaft which is approximately halfway. I don¡¯t see this groove in my parts book. Seems that AEC3472 is the part number up to BJ8, but my parts
book doesn¡¯t get to BJ8s¡¦.</div>

Can anyone identify this for me? And is it worth anything? I only found one for sale over here in the UK and that was for some hundreds of pounds. </div>
