We used Bill Hirsh prep/coat products on both our BJ8 and BN2 tank
and it's been good for many years and miles. The trick is getting
the metal as clean as humanly possible.<br>

<div>I am in the process of reviving a car that has sat for
several years. The gas tank was partially full of old gas, which
when pumped out brought out a lot of rust. As such, I am
thinking I will be needing to clean out and restore the inside
of this tank.</div>
