<div>Maybe of interest to some ...<br /></div><div>I have never used the washer in my BJ8.</div><div>So, used that hole to install a 5/8 red led indicator light.</div><div>This light now indicates solid red for OD engaged, and flashing red to show engaged but <i>"waiting for kick down". </i>Off after releasing the kick down latch circuit.</div><div>I find it quite useful - the flashing <i>"waiting for kick down"</i> in particular is a good driving reminder.</div><div>The
circuit I cobbled together uses 2 small boards sandwiched together and ptp wiring all in a
small plastic enclosure. All wiring is done under the dash; fused, and
fully reversible and no original wiring molestation. <br /></div><div>If of interest contact me for circuit and details.</div><div>Would work on all of our cars with a suitable LED location.</div><div>rg</div><div><br /></div><div>P.S.
