I don’t know what your spray shops do but ours, UK, almost bake the new paint onto the car. ie the car sits in a hot and very dry environment.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;mso-fareast-language:EN-US'>We bought a BJ8 over to France from North Virginia. The car hadn’t run for a while, quite a while at a guess. We took the train down to the port and got to the car. First off, it was an absolute pig to start and, when it did finally run after a jump start from an electric fork lift(!), it wouldn’t keep going without a lot of throttle. Rush hour in Paris was a nightmare but we got it home. Next day, we switched on the ignition and fuel was absolutely peeing out of the carbs. The run from port to garage seemed to have exacerbated the issue.
