I replaced mine with a gear reduction one. Then I got mine repaired for very little money and very little time. I saved the rebuilt original because I liked it and I don't really like the gear reduction although it is very strong and efficient. I liked to keep
my car as original as possible.</div>

<div>Why don't you just get the original one rebuilt? Plenty of places still rebuild these old starters. The original will last a long time once rebuilt. Keeping it Healey.</div>
