    Note the brass valve on the block is quite fragile and if it hasn't
    been 'exercised' recently it's likely stuck and you stand a good
    chance of snapping-off the small handle if you manhandle it. Moss
    has the complete valve at $150, and replacement handles are
    available. If it doesn't move easily I recommend soaking with a good
    penetrant oil and carefully applying some heat, and work it
    little-by-little (IIRC, the valve has the 'OFF' direction embossed
    in the body). A 10/32 machine screw will work as a handle in a
    pinch. IIRC, the valve has the 'OFF' direction embossed in the body
    near the handle.<br>

    Both valves on the 100s are large and robust, though still can get
    stuck due to corrosion.<br>

              <p class="MsoNormal">I did take the car on quite a long
                trip the other day (Le Mans Classic!!) and, once the
                heat had soaked through the insulation, we were quite
                warm….</p>

                I like the idea of turning that tap off…..</p>
