<p>May be meant for Stromberg carbs? <br>

<p>The needle in SU's is not in contact with the jet so if the carbs are set up properly the needles don't wear.</p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal">I was a bit startled by something I read the other day. It was to the effect that it’s sensible to change the jets in HD carbs every 5 years because the diaphragms harden and leak. Every 5 years?</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">Mine have been in since 2011…………I’ve 3, so it’ll be quite a business.</p>
