What does the list think about the price and listing?<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt'>This is the listing:<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=rwa-text style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif'>SU HS4 Carburetors - Original Fits Austin Healey<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=rwa-text style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif'>These are Austin-Healey SU HS4 carburetors from a 1962 BT7 MKII 3000 series Tri-carb. It is a set of three; front, center and rear without the carburetor to carburetor throttle linkages. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=rwa-text style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif'>They were fully functional when removed from the car about a year ago and have been sitting, boxed, in a garage for over a year. All parts have been nickel plated so they do not have the original finishes. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=rwa-text style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif'>Rebuilt in the past; including new, standard size, throttle shafts, jet assemblies, new plastic floats and needle/seat assemblies. There are not any missing parts, springs, etc. All screws and levers adjust and move freely. The jets were centered and the pistons do not stick and they drop freely against the jet bearing per S.U Burlen specifications.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=rwa-text style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif'>It is possible they may need new float gaskets and the jet assembly. While it appears new, it is possible the plastic feed tube from the float bowl to the jet has dried out and cracked. It is flexible so I am not certain about this.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=rwa-text style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif'>There are some dark spots on the outside of the piston chamber and other areas. These spots may not be removable. I have tried to remove them with lacquer thinner and could not. More aggressive methods have not been tried because of the nickel plating.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=rwa-text style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif'>Please review all the pictures for overall condition and do not hesitate to ask any questions prior to bidding or purchase.
