<html><body><div><div>Richard,<br></div><div><br></div><div>I just got a new pump for my BN1 from Northwest British, it was a German made water pump and it's black in color. Not sure if it's the same one Moss is now selling, but I've got a couple of thousand miles on it now and no problems. <br></div><div><br></div><div>But there was a large problem from the get go, seems the front "drain" plug threads were straight cut and not pipe thread. So it leaked like crazy from around those threads. I used a bunch of plumbers tape around the plug threads and was able to drive home 375 miles with just a small leak. When home I took the plug out, coated it with the new Permatex Seal+Lock, re-installed it and followed the directions to let it cure for 72 hours.
