<div dir="auto">It makes absolutely no difference where the filter is made unless the manufacturer specifies different material in its manufacturing process. Absolutely every step of the fabrication is automated and made by robots except the step of lining
up the bottom part of the filter and I doubt an American can drop it in place any better than a Chinese. See a video on YouTube how Fram filters are made. </div>
<div dir="auto">Given the relatively low price of an oil filter, I would still change the filter every oil change.</div>

<p class="x_x_MsoNormal">I have been using Wix filter 51516 for some time until I discovered it is now made in China. So

<p class="x_x_MsoNormal">I switched to the Wix 51516XP which is still made in USA. The XP states it is "Designed For Full Synthetic Oils”</p>
<p class="x_x_MsoNormal">And “Longer Service Intervals” of todays vehicles. </p>
<p class="x_x_MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="x_x_MsoNormal">Just question if there is a problem using with heavy 20-50 dino oil? Haven’t noticed any difference with oil pressure.</p>
<p class="x_x_MsoNormal">Any problems with using for a couple of oil changes instead of replacing with every oil change, which is once a season</p>
<p class="x_x_MsoNormal">and under 2000 mi. for me?</p>
