Disappointing. Now I'll have to check the 9-51516s I have sitting on
the shelf, bought years ago. Also got enough Valvoline VR-1 Racing
oil for 9 changes (plus extra I donate to my driveways).<br>

re: '... The XP states it is "Designed For Full Synthetic Oils...”'<br>

Means basically nothing, just jumping on the 'synthetic anything is
better' bandwagon (see: Castrol 'Synthetic' brake fluid). I think
the XP has a higher burst pressure, and it might flow a bit better
than 'std,' but not much value for a street car.<br>

re: "... Just question if there is a problem using with heavy 20-50
dino oil?"<br>
<br>
Nope. Been using it (various brands) for 150K miles or so in two
Healeys.<br>

re: "... Any problems with using for a couple of oil changes instead
of replacing with every oil change"<br>

This is what's known as a 'false economy.' Not that it matters a <i>whole</i>
lot, but you'll leave a pint or so of old, dirty oil in the filter
to mix with your nice, clean new dino oil. You're up on jackstands,
or ramps or, if you're really fortunate, a lift; why not take 5min
to put on a fresh filter? For just a few bucks more you can do the
job properly.<br>
