<div dir="ltr"><div>Just found this in my drafts that I had neglected to send.<br></div><div>The warning light intensity is roughly proportional to the difference to gen/alt voltage compared to batt volts.</div><div>Hence bright when engine off; and glow when gen is struggling at low RPM, and goes bright when zero volts with a gen fault.</div><div>To use a led, the trick is to install a shunt resistor in place of the incandescent warning light.Typically about 68 ohms or so.
