But the drive had an electronically controlled gate with a kind of knuckle thing in the centre of the tarmac against which the gates would locate. This thing somehow knocked his sump nut off. He switched on, drove off, ran it dry and wrecked the engine. I had to modify the adapter by filing a small notch in it,so that it fit flat against the block.
