<div dir="ltr">I agree with changing the filter to one that has a drain back and a bypass. The WIX 51516 has these features; others may also.<div><br></div><div>As others have mentioned there are only three places for oil to come out the back of the engine. The crankshaft, the camshaft and the end of the oil gallery. None should leak as quickly as yours seems to unless something bad happened. So the only things touched were the oil drain plug and filter. Unless the drain plug fell out that much oil that quick had to come from the filter. Is it the cannister type or spin on? Can you get under it with the engine running and see anything?
