I placed it on any metal surface that might reverberate. My doors no longer sound like a Miata when they are shut, the car sounds more like a “body by fisher”….lol. The material placed on the interior bulkheads of the firewall, floor boards, etc. has very effectively provided heat insulation too. I had used aluminized bubble material as an interim solution (from 1991 through 2020)…. This stuff I installed for my more recent restoration; it has been much more satisfying.

-skip-

From: Healeys <healeys-bounces@autox.team.net> On Behalf Of HealeyRick
Sent: Friday, October 7, 2022 8:02 AM
To: Healeys <healeys@autox.team.net>
Subject: [Healeys] Interior Insulation Kits?

Does anyone have any recommendations from personal experience for a good interior (BJ7) insulation kit?
