<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default" style="color:#3333ff">Jeff put Pertronix units in the 23D distributors I use in both my Elva race cars. </div><div class="gmail_default" style="color:#3333ff">This was about ten years ago and perhaps his sentiments have changed since then--remember the red rotors that were great when they first came out and then problems seemed to develop with them, esp. with counterfeits. </div><div class="gmail_default" style="color:#3333ff">Curt is correct in that some folks switch to Pertronix to mask or get around underlying problems. <div style="color:black;font:12pt "Comic Sans MS",sans-serif">If I recall correctly, Isn't Jeff adamantly against Pertronix ignitions? I am not sure why he dislikes them. For me the advantages out way the originality of a points system. I do like the way he rebuilds the OE distributors.<br>
