<p class="MsoNormal">There are very few things that I find when
restoring Austin-Healeys that surprise me anymore but today, while
dismantling a set of carbs for a BN2, I came across this at one end
of the balance pipe. The correct part is a rubber gland seal but at
some point it was replaced by some black plumber packing string,
just shook my head.</p>
