<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;" class="">Hello everyone,<div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I’ve had a PBR VH44 brake servo on my car for over 25 years, and I’ve found a source for a rebuild kit.</div><div class="">I was looking to rebuild the unit, not because there’s anything wrong with it, but it's been in active service a long time, and I really don’t want to find out it’s failed the hard way.</div><div class="">I use Dot 5 silicone fluid (please let’s not get into that controversy again!), and it would not be very good if that got sucked in to the engine via the manifold.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Anyway, I wonder if anyone out there has rebuilt one of these units. I’ve attached a couple of photos - one of the opened unit, and a close up of the end of the shaft that goes into the cylinder bore.
