That is why the factory provided 2 special alignment bolts (dowel bolts), but they are not at the same location on the 100 engine backplate & the 6 Cyl. backplate

I believe Dennis Welch sells them. The thickness of the back plate will affect how much the Trans. input shaft has to be shortened. <br clear="none" class="yiv2881735657">
