It should be located below the distributor on the RH chassis rail.<div>Here is a photo of a new reproduction of what the plate looked like.</div><div><br></div><div>Also here is an engine plate on the block, and the later BN1-2 bulkhead plate after the chassis and engine became unified (same number for each). Early 100s had a separate engine and chassis number in addition to a batch and body number (above) on the bulkhead (firewall). A plastic plate was located in the LH kick panel in the early cars.</div><div><br></div><div>Clarke Spares in Pennsylvania makes reproductions of these if you supply correct legal paperwork. British Specialists, Stockton, Ca. has the plastic plate for sale.
