<p class="x_MsoNormal"><span style="">I’ll second that. Colin Bailey, who did Rich’s bodywork, used the Kilmartin rockers on mine and Rich gave me that same speech about curves! When I first had the rockers done way back in ’78, I got replacements from Sports
and Classics, but they were straight and Rich would tease me mercilessly about them. When he re-did them in 2008 he put them right.</span></p>

<p class="x_MsoNormal">As explained in an article by the late Rich Chrysler, there are no straight lines on an Austin Healey. The correct rocker panels will have a very subtle compound curve which bows slightly to the outside of the body and also droops a bit
under the doors. These must be made in a press. Many after market rockers are produced on a brake, which can only give a straight fold. These parts mar the symmetry of the intended body line. If you have ever seen a car that just had something wrong either
the look of the lower body it probably had the straight rockers installed. I don’t know anything about the Moss part, but I know the KAS part is correct.</p>
