I had laid it on the top cover, as was my habit during fueling. After a futile search for it over the last 20 miles, I came across a NAPA store in the country. Well, there is no chance they will have a Healey gas cap, but I went in to check anyway. The clerk simply asked “locking or non-locking?” and produced one exactly like the one I lost. It fell of on the road and was run over.
