<DIV>May have mentioned before---but anyway----had BJ8 tranny and OD
rebuilt----supposedly a new oil seal was installed in the rear drive
shaft. Added oil. It leaked out of the back of the seal.
Pulled nut, removed seal. now waiting for new seal. when I put it
back, should I use a smear of Permatex around rear of oil seal and on the
splines if the drive shaft?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>BTW--I'm doing this while the tranny is installed.</DIV>
