At the moment we are waiting for fabric from the US, China and the UK; plants/seeds from within Australia; Austin-Healey parts from within Australia; Healey parts from the UK; plastic models from China; bedding from within Australia; garden implements from the UK; books from the UK; and, screws/nuts/bolts from within Australia.</span></p><p class="yiv2936948591MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;"> </span></p><p class="yiv2936948591MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;">Australia Post is lifting its game and parcels are arriving quicker than normal mail (letters). Parcels are also delivered six days a week, while post is Monday to Friday.</span></p><p class="yiv2936948591MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;"> </span></p><p class="yiv2936948591MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;">One of the places we buy fabric is from an outlet in South Carolina and it’s always interesting to watch how the parcel is tracked through the USPS system as it too is getting faster. Although there are some places in the US where the parcel seems to sit for an inordinate amount of time. Then instead of a parcel coming direct from the US to Australia, it may go via Tokyo, Hong Kong or Singapore. I have previously sung the praises of the USPS to whomever would listen, and in fact have slipped over the border to post a package from the US, to meet a deadline, ...........................BUT, as I stated in my original post, the villain of this particular piece appears to be the U.S. Customs Service with the added aggravation of no reason given - according to the vendor - for the rejected parcel!<br></div><div></div>

At the moment we are waiting for fabric from the US, China and the UK; plants/seeds from within Australia; Austin-Healey parts from within Australia; Healey parts from the UK; plastic models from China; bedding from within Australia; garden implements from the UK; books from the UK; and, screws/nuts/bolts from within Australia.</span></p><p class="yiv2936948591MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;"> </span></p><p class="yiv2936948591MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;">Australia Post is lifting its game and parcels are arriving quicker than normal mail (letters). Parcels are also delivered six days a week, while post is Monday to Friday.</span></p><p class="yiv2936948591MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;"> </span></p><p class="yiv2936948591MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;">One of the places we buy fabric is from an outlet in South Carolina and it’s always interesting to watch how the parcel is tracked through the USPS system as it too is getting faster. Although there are some places in the US where the parcel seems to sit for an inordinate amount of time. Then instead of a parcel coming direct from the US to Australia, it may go via Tokyo, Hong Kong or Singapore. I'd <br>pressure-bled them, which has always worked well for me before, but when <br>I got a good pedal it would go soft after some time and/or a bit of <br>driving. A lister suggested a method he'd seen work before: hold <br>pressure on the pedal with a board/weight/etc. for a few hours or days. <br>In desperation, I put a board on the depressed pedal and 'staked' it on <br>the driver side seat pan. As (bad) luck would have it, I had to deal <br>with my mother's dementia and place her in memory care, and my landlord <br>evicted us--he's selling--and we started a complete remodel of her house <br>before we moved in. So, no time or energy to work on the car for a <br>couple months--plus a heat wave that made it uncomfortable to work in <br>the garage--but when I finally got back on the car a couple days ago, I <br>had a good pedal, that seems to persist. Needless to say, I'm happy <br>about this, but a bit curious why this worked; my guess is the pressure <br>on the fluid causes any air in the fluid to form bubbles, which <br>gradually migrate back into the reservoir. Then instead of a parcel coming direct from the US to Australia, it may go via Tokyo, Hong Kong or Singapore. Is <br>this correct? I did compare the new cylinders to the old ones and they <br>are the same with the same wheel cylinder used front and rear at each <br>wheel.
