some slack due to the pandemic. I had priority mail boxes sit
for a week at distribution centers. But incoming international
packages has been much worse. An envelope from Germany sat in
NYC for three months. A print in a cardboard tube from the UK
sat in Chicago for four months. On the other hand, I recently
bought a copy of Donald Healey's 8C Triumph Dolomite book from
the UK - three weeks. Over the weekend, I bought a copy of
Herve Chevalier's latest Healey book on the AH 100. Will see
how long that takes.</font></font><br>

only to have the package "returned to sender"
for no apparent reason! Evidently US Customs
is the culprit. I have copies of the shipping
label here and it has no fewer than four
official-looking stamps on it after it was
accepted for mailing! Beware, this could
happen to you! Interestingly. I have mailed
stuff from here in Canada to the US without
ever having had a problem.<br>
