Star does good work--else I wouldn't recommend them--but the last
time they rebuilt a starter for me they painted it the wrong color,
and I had to repaint. When I questioned Mike about it, he didn't
respond to emails.<br>

So, maybe just get done in primer?<br>

<div>Here in the San Bernadino area I have been using these guys
for many years. They have it done the same day. They have a
machine shop in the back and rebuild ANY generator or
starter. If they don't have the parts they need in stock,
they make it. Much cheaper than Star, but you have to paint
it yourself. I just talked to them on the phone. You can
ship it to them and they will send it out the same day. Just
have to leave your info in the box so they can call you when
it arrives. They ship out of state every day.<br>
