<div style="color:black;font: 10pt Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I'm fairly certain that there was not a carry over of the old front guards on the BN2.
<div> I will say that at a west coast meet many years ago, the judges in Concours where having a hard time trying to figure out why a 100 was sitting so oddly in the grass field. A view of each side of the car seemed to suggest a bent frame or something unusual. The owner had paid big bucks and lots of time to have the car restored so things should have been on track for a high point car. </div>

<div>After some  (plenty) discussion it was a decided that an otherwise Gold level car had an early guard on one side and the later BN2 guard on the other side. Needless to say there were a few points deducted and a very dejected owner....</div>

<div>At every car event I attend since then, I walk around the 100's in attendance and compare the front guards with the span of my hand.. </div>
