size=2 face=Arial>I have recently put a completely new wiring harness into my
Mk1 BT7. The harness is fully installed but the exterior body panels are not and
you have a good view of the wiring behind the instruments. Yes it is possible to
cross the wires and put the wrong bulb in the wrong instrument but this would be
against how the harness is laid out. The attached wiring diagram shows which
wires go to which instrument. This wiring diagram is not a reproduction but
comes from a period work shop manual for BN4 through BT7. The manual is Part N.
AKD1179A Issue 2 if anyone need to know.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

faces of my speedo and tach. In my BN7 the tach has printed on the
face above the red colored lens “Ignition” and the speedo has printed
above the blue light “ High Beam”. Foreign Speedo put a red lens
into my speedo but after reviewing the feed back here and other sites I
decided to put the blue lens into the High Beam on the speedo and the red
lens in the Ignition warning light on the tach..<SPAN
