I used the same diagram from the 100 shop manual to wire my BN2 on a
bare chassis. My install would have been 100% correct if the harness
had not had a couple wires mis-coded. They were turn signal wires,
and we even went through the brake/signal relay box looking for the
problem (needless to say, I was rather pissed-off about it). I'll
never sell the car--my late father and I restored it together--but
whoever ends up with it might get misled by the wires' coloring;
come to think of it I should probably put a note or something on the
wires.<br>

completely new wiring harness into my Mk1 BT7. The harness
is fully installed but the exterior body panels are not and
you have a good view of the wiring behind the instruments.
Yes it is possible to cross the wires and put the wrong bulb
in the wrong instrument but this would be against how the
harness is laid out. The attached wiring diagram shows which
wires go to which instrument. This wiring diagram is not a
reproduction but comes from a period work shop manual for
BN4 through BT7. The manual is Part N. AKD1179A Issue 2 if
anyone need to know.</font></span></div>
