<div dir="ltr">I think Kent's solution is the best idea. First, AM radio is mostly talk and not in stereo. FM, while in stereo, is dependent on how close you are to the station. You'll need to drill a hole in your fender to route an antenna. With a bluetooth smartphone equipped with Spotify, Pandora or Sirius, she can listen to anything she wants at any time without being at the mercy of programming and with paid subscriptions entirely do away with commercials. I have a Bluetooth hookup on my Becker Europa II Stereo radio and I don't even listen to the radio anymore, just Spotify. If the radio installation wasn't already in the car, I would just do as Kent suggests.<div><br></div><div>Healthy Healying,</div><div>Rick Neville</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Tue, Aug 4, 2020 at 2:39 PM Kent McLean <<a href="mailto:kentmclean@comcast.net">kentmclean@comcast.net</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div style="overflow-wrap: break-word;">Bob Brown wrote:<br><div><blockquote type="cite"><div><span style="font-family:Palatino-Roman;font-size:18px;font-style:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:normal;letter-spacing:normal;text-align:start;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;white-space:normal;word-spacing:0px;text-decoration:none;float:none;display:inline">I?ve been asked by a non-list BJ8 owner about radios and speakers for her car.</span><br style="font-family:Palatino-Roman;font-size:18px;font-style:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:normal;letter-spacing:normal;text-align:start;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;white-space:normal;word-spacing:0px;text-decoration:none"><span style="font-family:Palatino-Roman;font-size:18px;font-style:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:normal;letter-spacing:normal;text-align:start;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;white-space:normal;word-spacing:0px;text-decoration:none;float:none;display:inline">I?ve located radios available from Moss but what do folks use for speakers and their placement?</span><br style="font-family:Palatino-Roman;font-size:18px;font-style:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:normal;letter-spacing:normal;text-align:start;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;white-space:normal;word-spacing:0px;text-decoration:none"><span style="font-family:Palatino-Roman;font-size:18px;font-style:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:normal;letter-spacing:normal;text-align:start;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;white-space:normal;word-spacing:0px;text-decoration:none;float:none;display:inline">Yes I know radios are not necessary in a Healey but she is younger and what does a dad do.<span> </span></span><br style="font-family:Palatino-Roman;font-size:18px;font-style:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:normal;letter-spacing:normal;text-align:start;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;white-space:normal;word-spacing:0px;text-decoration:none"></div></blockquote><br></div><div>If she is that young, Bluetooth from her smartphone to a powered speaker or to a small amp and speakers.
